Looking for work in Lviv Oblast doesn’t have to mean focusing exclusively on the regional capital — there are plenty of interesting opportunities in other towns across the region. You can browse job vacancies in Sheptytskyi on Robota.ua, where openings from various industries are listed. The town has its own job market, with shops, delivery services, and service companies operating alongside industrial enterprises.
A Mining Town with New Employment Opportunities
Sheptytskyi (formerly Chervonohrad) developed around coal mining for many years. Mining-related occupations are still present, but limiting your job search to the mines means overlooking other opportunities. Employment can also be found in retail, manufacturing, and customer service. What matters most is identifying the skills you already have.
Consider how your abilities match the requirements of different fields:
- retail — receiving goods, assisting customers, and operating cash registers;
- logistics — picking and packing orders, managing warehouse records, and handling deliveries;
- customer service — responding to inquiries, processing orders, and supporting sales;
- administrative work — maintaining documentation, organizing workflows, and coordinating meetings;
- construction — carrying out repair and installation work, using tools, and reading technical documentation.
If you have previously worked in manufacturing, your knowledge of workplace safety procedures and ability to follow instructions carefully may also be valuable at another company. Experience communicating with people, meanwhile, can open the door to administrative or retail positions.
Location of Your Future Workplace
Sheptytskyi is located in the northern part of Lviv Oblast, so you may also find suitable employment in another town in the region. Before applying for a vacancy, check the company’s address, the start and end times of the shift, and the availability of transportation. If the workplace is outside the town, ask whether employee transportation is provided. Rather than comparing the maximum salary advertised, focus on the guaranteed amount you will have left after covering travel and meal expenses. You should also check your commuting route on a working day, as public transport schedules may differ between weekdays and weekends.
Making a decision becomes easier when you know how much free time you will have after each shift and whether there are opportunities for training and professional development. Browse vacancies on Robota.ua, compare employment conditions, and choose offers that fit naturally into your daily routine without requiring you to completely change your lifestyle.
